    Job Announcement

    The City of Chandler Community Services Department, Library Division is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Business Systems Support Specialist. The position is set to work from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

    Who we are looking for
    Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone to provide front-line support to department/division staff and resolves hardware and software related issues on department or division specific systems including maintaining and troubleshooting computers, laptops, peripherals and other related equipment.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • A High School Diploma or GED with some college level coursework or technical training in a computer technology area; and
    • 3 years of experience with systems and software support, and/or service desk experience with a variety of operating systems, software, hardware, applications, peripherals and problem resolution; and
    • A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record; or
    • Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

    Desired Qualifications
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
    • Proficient in computer operating systems, software applications, mobile devices, and peripherals.
    • Experience in system administration and user management.
    • Familiar with O365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.
    • Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and task management.

    This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.

    The City of Chandler will conduct a pre-employment driving record check as a condition of employment. An offer of employment is contingent upon acceptable results. All applicants hired will be required to be fingerprinted with successful results as a condition of continued employment.
