About University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB (This is not a state position) University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We’re responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.
Position Summary Temporary, Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through 6/30/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $5,583.00-$6,400.00 per month.
Location: CSUSB Campus and travel throughout the Inland Empire.
Work Schedule 40 hours per week. Typically Monday-Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Some nights and weekends may be required.

Typical Activities Under minimal supervision of the Executive Director of the CSUSB Office of Pre-College Programs, the Operations Manager will work independently to:
- Coordinates with school districts, school sites, and assigned liaisons to implement K-16 programming at target sites;
- Serves as a liaison between K-12 districts, community colleges, and community partners with CSUSB to ensure appropriate agreements and processes are in place;
- Plans and organizes the delivery of all K-16 programming including school day, afterschool, weekend, field trips, workshops, parent activities and summer components;
- Build and maintain relationships with employers to provide service learning, internship, job-shadowing, and guest speaker opportunities for participants;
- Develop and implement student recruitment strategies, ensuring that all program offerings have full rosters;
- Coordinate all CSUSB K-16 projects (lead and supporting) to discuss best practices, and maximize resources;
- Ensures the integrity of data collection and evaluation;
- Provide support with the submission of weekly, monthly and annual reporting, as required by agency, project, district and institution;
- Actively engages in staff meetings, retreats, and professional development conferences;
- Assists with the development of pre-college curricula, training, workshops, and presentations;
- Participates in subcommittees with campus and community partners, in order to coordinate efforts for outreach, programming and/or funding opportunities;
- Travel throughout San Bernardino and Riverside County is required;
- Performs other dues as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications - Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience:
- Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience working in outreach and/or advising programs with no less than two (2) years’ experience cultivating partnerships with K-12 and college partners.
- Other:
- Applicants should have successful experience developing, managing, and implementing the delivery of support services to middle and high schools.
- Applicants must have strong organizational, management, leadership, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Applicants should have a strong understanding of dual enrollment and developmental English and Math programming
- Applicants must have the ability to analyze problems and resolve conflicts, to do long-range planning and develop implementation procedures, to establish rapport and positive working relationships with campus departments, faculty
members, administrators, teachers, counselors, outreach staff, student and family participants and other partners and to articulate the goals of the project to campus and community members in order to generate support for
the objectives and ideals of both projects.
- Applicants must have the ability to travel to and from various school and community-based sites throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications - A Master’s Degree in Education, Counseling, or Higher Education is preferred. Applicants that have
experience in overcoming barriers similar to those of Cal-SOAP students are desirable.
