    PROJECT ENGINEER: Grade 21 - Salary Range: $77,799.00 to $139,291.00
    PROJECT MANAGER: Grade 22 - Salary Range: $87.893.00 to 157,366.00

    Rate of pay depends on qualifications.

    Hiring/Retention Incentive

    External candidates who are hired by SAWS will receive a $1,000 Hiring Incentive. This incentive will be split into two payments of $500. The two payments will be made to the new hire on their second and fourth paycheck after they are hired. Upon successful completion of the new hire’s six-month introductory period, the new hire will also be eligible for an additional $1,000 Retention Incentive, which will be paid during their seventh month of employment with SAWS.

    PROJECT ENGINEER - JOB SUMMARY
    The Project Engineer is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing the design and commissioning of construction projects. Participates in project identification, project integration, cost estimating, and design and review of plans, specifications, and construction inspection.

    PROJECT MANAGER - JOB SUMMARY
    The Project Manager for Plants and Major Projects is responsible for execution of complex water, wastewater, and recycled water facility projects with SAWS-wide implications to include establishing goals and objectives, measures of success, developing project plans, determining resource requirements, and tracking all facets of the project, with regular reporting to management. Provides direction and guidance to project team, allocates resources, and assigns tasks to achieve optimum results.
