    College Intern positions offer college students/graduates practical work experience through projects related to the student’s field of study - law. College Interns employed in this class may be assigned to one of the County's legal departments. This recruitment will be used to fill current and future positions.

    This recruitment is intended to fill College Intern-Graduate Level (Extra-Help) positions requiring enrollment in or completion of a law school program. Extra-help employees do not have rights to a regular position or continued employment and are excluded from civil service. Interns generally work up to 29 hours per week. Interns may work more than 29 hours per week, depending upon departmental assignment and budget. However, hours cannot exceed more than 999 hours in a fiscal year.

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    Education:

    Graduate Level: Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university within the past one year OR current enrollment in a post-Bachelor's law school program. Proof is required.

    Experience:

    No experience required.

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's License may be required.

    SELECTION PROCESS
