Job Summary Performs supervisory and limited administrative work involving general park operations at Bill Frederick Park. Serves as a working supervisor responsible for planning, overseeing, inspecting, and assigning daily tasks for maintenance work of facilities, equipment, grounds, athletic courses, various trails, and daily gatehouse functions. Duties include scheduling staff to correlate with park reservations, and events to assist in providing the highest quality level of customer service experience in a clean and safe environment for staff, visitors, and animals. Maintains and submits facility work order requests and assists with oversight and inspection of Contractor work completion. Work is performed under the supervision of the Park Manager and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through direct observation, meetings, and review of work to ensure accuracy and completion. Must work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma/G.E.D. Certificate and two (2) years experience in general maintenance operations, groundskeeping, landscaping, facilities, or related area, one (1) year of which
must have been in a progressively responsible supervisory capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License.
Must pass a background check and polygraph. Previous customer service and cash handling experience preferred.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
