    Essential Job Functions

    • Review building plans by reading the plans and ensuring code compliance for various issues such as occupancy, electrical, plumbing, energy, easements, and area limitations.
    • Provides customer service by assisting clients at the counter; answering questions; researching information; and providing information as requested.

    • All other duties as assigned by a supervisor/manager within your department/division.

    • Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality for the assigned work hours is essential.


    Minimum Qualifications

    Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may qualify. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be:

    Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent.

    Experience: 2-3 years of related experience.

    Licenses: Valid Driver's License required.

    Certifications Required: ICC Plans Examiner Certification preferred.
