    Position: Psychologist

     

    Annual Salary Ranges:

    Telehealth/Headquarters/Onsite:

    • $132,228 – $162,372 – Licensed
    • $112,020 – $133,932 – Pre-Licensed

     

    Psychologists providing in-person care in an inpatient unit will receive:

    • $152,052 – $186,720 – Licensed
    • $128,820 – $154,020 – Pre-Licensed

     

    Recruitment and Retention Bonus for clinicians newly hired with the State of CA and providing in-person care has been restructured to provide a 1% bonus for the first 7 years, increasing by 1% year over year, maxing at a 7% bonus by year 7.

     

    Work Locations: Wide Variety of Geographic Settings including the Northern California Coast, San Francisco Bay Area, California Capitol, and Southern California

    As a Psychologist with California Correctional Health Care Services, you will play a crucial role in providing mental health services to individuals in our care. Your responsibilities will include conducting screenings, evaluating incarcerated persons, crisis intervention, individual therapy, treatment planning, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. You may also have the opportunity to contribute to program evaluation and research.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Valid license as a Psychologist issued by the California Board of Psychology
    • Doctorate Degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
