This position will serve as a
Program Coordinator for the Innovation Lab and Lounge at the Austin Public Library. This area serves as a digital makerspace accessible to the public, focusing on video, music, podcasting, 3D design, and various other creative mediums. The individual in this role will be responsible for planning, designing, and hosting programs aimed at instructing the public in the effective use of creative hardware and software. Furthermore, the Program Coordinator will cultivate program-centered partnerships with community organizations and businesses. The Program Coordinator will participate in the daily operations of the Innovation Lab and Lounge by promoting public understanding and effective utilization of the available technology resources.

Hours
Regular (40 hours) per week:
Monday - Friday
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Rotating Saturdays and Sundays.
- Occasional evening shifts as programming requires.
- Flexibility in scheduling is required.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities
