Eligibility Team Lead will demonstrate their knowledge of
Family and Adult Medicaid to support both
Wake County and
Wake Med clients in determining eligibility for
Adult Medicaid Programs.The
Eligibility Team Lead is responsible for reviewing casework quality, training, instructing, scheduling, and providing Supervisory coverage and support as needed.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Aiding with QA audits for the case managers on your team monthly
- Monitoring logs and spreadsheets in multiple program categories on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Monitoring and providing assistance with work queues and rotating duty coverage
- Responding to emails related to hospital referrals as well as assisting with referrals in multiple program categories
- Checking case actions for accuracy and providing feedback for case managers
- Manage vacant caseloads
- Facilitate training for the team and one-on-one with new staff- managing specialized caseloads.
**Note: This is a hybrid position located at Wake Medical Center-Raleigh campus on New Bern Ave.

The Basics (Required Education and Experience) - Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field
- Three years of job-related experience
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience) - 2 years or more experience working with NCFAST
- Knowledge of both Family and Adult Medicaid
- Current Medicaid eligibility knowledge
- 2 years or more experience as a case manager
- Experience working with Epic
- Human Services experience as a Supervisor, Team Lead, Trainer or Mentor
