RoleTravel will be necessary during the training period, which will require working at multiple locations, including the Camp Verde Detention Center, the Prescott Detention Center - Intake division, and the Sheriff Administrative Office in Prescott. Upon completion of the training, location will be primarily in the Prescott Detention Center - Intake division. Under general supervision, provides technical support, and performs administrative duties of considerable difficulty in providing ongoing education, training, and support for technology application software.
Major Duties, Responsibilities- Researches, analyzes, plans, installs, configures, troubleshoots, maintains, and upgrades hardware and software interfaces with database systems. Conducts technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required and compatibility with current system.
- Assists management in the development and implementation of operational procedures related to technology.
- Works with staff to identify, develop, and implement application processes to enhance department operations, objectives, and practices for ongoing quality improvement.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
YAVAPAI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE - Assists with the coordination, planning, and tracking of department projects. Prepares progress reports and other written materials as needed. Disseminates project information to project stakeholders, monitoring the progress of project goals and deliverables on behalf of Management. Assists with the implementation of IT related upgrades.
- Assists with the quality testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of all new and existing department software and its interaction with other IT resources and outside software vendors.
- Provides daily administrative support to Management.
- Assists in the coordination with the other county departments, community partners, service providers, and related agencies/government, and service groups to resolve problems as they relate to information technology. Assists in maintaining administrative control over IT assets within the department.
- Acts as backup applications administrator.
COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER OF YAVAPAI - Travel to all clinic sites to coordinate and conduct training of health services staff in the use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Assesses training and development needs of clinical staff in relation to electronic development of programs, products, and services. Collaboratively develops curriculum for students and staff, designing and implementing programs to address needs.
- Serves as resource for system questions relating to clinical operations and processes. Analyze electronic clinical processes and problem-solves with staff to improve efficiency.
- Assists management staff in the development and implementation of operational procedures.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in troubleshooting software systems and working with a variety of technologies.
Additional Requirements:Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Work Environment:The work environment is associated with an office. The work area is adequately lighted, heated or cooled and ventilated.
Physical Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Sufficient vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; hearing and speech ability to communicate effective in-person and telephonically. Capable of frequent repetitive movement of arms, fingers, and wrists. Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, and lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
