    Overview

    We need an experienced and motivated Program Supervisor to join our Operations Division. This role is part of the Program Support Team within the Human Services Department and plays a key role in managing critical functions that help our programs run smoothly.

    The Program Support Team Program Supervisor oversees a dedicated team of Administrative Specialists who act as Medicaid and Social Security Liaisons, IVE, and ICPC Administrators and maintain vital data and provider payment systems. This position works closely with our Procurement, Accounting, and Children, Youth, and Family teams and actively participates in state and local meetings.

    The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8-5 pm, hybrid, with at least one day a week in the office.

    Responsibilities

    Specifically, this position:
    • Supervises Administrative Support Specialists, overseeing work, training, performance, and staffing decisions.
    • Ensures compliance with reporting and program requirements for department initiatives (e.g., Title IVE, ICPC, Social Security, Medicaid).
    • Develops and implements program policies, procedures, and guidelines to align with grants and objectives.
    • Acts as a liaison between clients, staff, community agencies, and internal departments, facilitating outreach.
    • Addresses complaints, provides information, and serves as a technical resource for clients, internal department staff, and the public.
    • Prepares program reports, monitors compliance, and completes required reports for funding guidelines, including basic accounting and fiscal management.
    • Delivers exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Assists in resolving operational and program-related issues, providing recommendations on staffing and resources.
    • Conducts public speaking engagements and promotes department programs and services to varied audiences.

    We are looking for a candidate that will:
    • Have experience understanding and interpreting federal, state, and local legislative guidelines and program requirements.
    • Demonstrate successful collaboration skills across various entities to accomplish complex tasks and projects.
    • Exhibit strong management and coaching abilities.
    • Show a desire and ability to streamline and improve processes while meeting all stakeholder needs.
    • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.


    Qualifications

    All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
    • Four (4) years experience in a directly related field or in the performance of similar duties.
    • One (1) year of supervisory experience.
    • Possess reliable transportation to be able to work in any County facility as needed and required.
    • Must be at least 16 years of age, or 18 years of age if located at the Jail.

    This is a hybrid position requires at least one day/week in the office. In-office work will be located at one of the following three locations: 1501 Blue Spruce Drive, Fort Collins, CO; 2555 Midpoint Drive, Fort Collins, CO; or 200 Peridot Avenue, Loveland, CO.

    You must have adequate internet access and space for remote work. Larimer County provides an annual remote work stipend to assist with equipment and office supply needs for remote workspaces.

    All new employees and rehires are required to submit fingerprints for a CBI criminal background check (c.r.s. 26-6-104).

    An offer of employment is contingent upon the successful completion of required pre-employment testing. Depending on the position, these checks may include, but are not limited to; reference checks, motor vehicle reports, employment verification, education verification, fingerprinting, criminal history information, physical, and a drug screening. As marijuana is an illegal substance under federal law, testing positive for marijuana (medical or otherwise) or any other substance for which the county tests, will result in the contingent offer of employment being revoked. Successful completion of the drug screen is defined as obtaining a negative result.
