    Notes to Applicants

    This position will be filled at one of the following levels depending upon candidate qualifications:
    • Graduate Engineer A: $33.49 to $42.71 per hour
    • Graduate Engineer B: $35.50 to $45.27 per hour
    • Engineer A: $39.49 to $51.34 per hour
    • Engineer B: $42.26 to $54.94 per hour


    Position Overview:
    This Engineer position is part of the Infrastructure Management Division at Austin Water. The ideal candidate should have experience with Project Management, delivering CIP infrastructure projects, familiarity with infrastructure maintenance and operations practices, and have skills in data analysis and management. This position will serve as a representative of Austin Water, participating in public and utility meetings and workshops. Strong collaborator and organization skills are needed to oversee and/or lead the work of Austin Water teams and contractors. Strong communication skills are needed to disseminate asset management policies and standards and facilitate data reporting. Strong writing and documentation skills are needed to create and refine workflows, digital forms and templates for data capture, interim repositories, and permanent enterprise databases.

    City Government
