As the
Executive Assistant for the
Information Technology Department, you will be at the heart of administrative operations. You will be the office manager and primary point of contact for the department’s 125 employees. You will assist employees and department leadership by answering questions, researching policies and procedures, developing employee communications and serving as the
Human Resources liaison. You will also manage administrative operations, including procurement, processing payments, arranging travel for trainings and conferences and managing service contracts.
The position is 60% remote (in office 2 days per week).Essential Functions:- Serve as the primary point of contact for the department’s employees
- Schedule and manage logistics for meetings and events
- Conduct research and prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets
- Processes requests for payments, reimbursements, requisitions, and contracts
- Assist third-party vendors in registering to do business with the county
- Update the department’s SharePoint site and publish the monthly employee newsletter in SharePoint
- Provide excellent customer service to county employees, vendors, and business partners

The Basics (Required Education and Experience) - High school diploma or GED
- Four years of administrative/office support experience
- Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Beyond the Basics (Preferred Education and Experience) - Experience in employee onboarding and offboarding
- Proficient in use of DocuSign for sending envelopes, creating and using templates and creating web forms
- Proficient in use of Adobe Acrobat for creating, editing and converting PDF documents
- Experience creating and editing content on Microsoft SharePoint sites
- Experience creating and managing Microsoft SharePoint lists
