General Description and Classification Standards
The APD System Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of the agency’s information technology systems, including hardware, software, and networks. The System Administrator also provides technical support and training to end-users, troubleshoots issues, and coordinates with vendors and other law enforcement agencies.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. IT related certifications and work experience can be substituted for degree requirements.
