Accounting Assistant - Senior #2024-12404-02
As a Senior Accounting Assistant, you will dive into complex financial and statistical recordkeeping, supporting vital functions such as accounts receivable, payroll, and tax collections. This position requires specialized knowledge and offers the opportunity to perform intricate accounting tasks, from managing ledgers to processing detailed claims, all while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
In this role, you'll not only handle technical accounting work but also provide guidance and training to junior staff, fostering their development and enhancing team performance. You will develop efficient schedules and methods to ensure timely completion of assignments, actively participating in evaluating staff activities and recommending improvements.
Accounting Techician - #2024-12406-02
As an Accounting Technician, you will play a vital role in planning and supervising key accounting functions, including accounts receivable and payable, payroll processing, tax billing, and more. This is your chance to dive into technical and complex financial transactions while leading a dedicated team.
The qualified candidate can expect to evaluate and revise programs to ensure that operations align with regulations and best practices. Other duties include resolving complex vendor and customer account issues, preparing and maintaining financial reports, and interpreting financial information for the public.

Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience:
Two years of responsible journey level experience performing duties similar to an Accounting Assistant – Journey with Placer County.
Training:
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade. Additional specialized training in bookkeeping, accounting or a related field is desirable.
