Full-time position available with the Aviation Department, Finance Division-Central Warehouse located at 711 Mexico City Ave
Salary Range: $18.61-$29.39/hour
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to acquire services, supplies and goods as required by the assigned division at a competitive price in a time-efficient manner and to provide basic routine administrative support work relating to the purchasing function.
- Position is responsible for the review, analysis, and purchase of supplies, services and goods.
- Reviews of methods of acquisition.
- Performs data entry and possesses the ability learn and train others on warehouse inventory systems.
- Maintains procurement files.
- Processing fully executed contracts.
- Handles inquiries of highly sensitive and confidential nature; and preparation of requisitions and purchase orders and related documentation.
- Performs related work as directed.
Qualifications
REQUIRES high school graduation and 3 years of increasingly responsible secretarial and/or clerical experience; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience.

For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
