The PositionThe City of Riverside is accepting applications for the position of
CaliforniansForAll Fellow* to fill one (1) vacancy in the
City Council.The eligibility list established may be used to fill the current and/or upcoming vacancies within this classification for up to six (6) months.
Under direct supervision, the CaliforniansForAll Program Fellow performs and provides a variety of unskilled and limited skilled general maintenance tasks for various departments.

- Are or were justice-involved
- Are in/or transitioning from foster care; AND/OR
- Are engaged with the mental health or substance abuse system

QualificationsEducation: High School graduation or satisfactory equivalent (GED).
Experience: None.
Licenses and Certifications: Possession of, or ability to obtain an appropriate, valid Class “C” California Motor Vehicle Operator’s License.
Highly Desirable Qualifications:- Bilingual in Spanish
- Pursing or completion of a Bachelors Degree in Political Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Experience in:
- Assisting in event coordination
- Drafting and editing correspondence, reports, and/or presentations.
- Performing administrative tasks; including scheduling meetings, managing databases, and handling correspondence.
- Participating in outreach activities involved in community engagement.
Note: While we encourage all interested candidates to apply, the CAForAll Youth Workforce Development Grant requires that 75% of all hires through the program meet 2 or more of the eligibility requirements listed above. Candidates who do not meet all eligibility requirements are still welcome to apply, but their application may not be eligible for the grant funding.
