The City of Chandler Information Technology Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as an IT Systems Analyst. The position is scheduled to work 5 days a week, 8 hours per day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and administer the Microsoft 365 environment, with a strong focus on Exchange Online.
  • Configure and maintain Exchange Online mail flow, security settings, and policies.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Exchange Online and Microsoft 365-related issues.
  • Implement and manage Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate Microsoft 365 solutions into business processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online.
  • Stay updated with the latest Microsoft 365 features and best practices.
  • Assist with the migration and deployment of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Microsoft 365 configurations, procedures, and policies.

Minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on Microsoft 365 administration and Exchange Online.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired qualifications
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with hybrid Exchange environments.
  • Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and related services.
  • Familiarity with other Microsoft 365 applications and services.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams administration and governance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 compliance and data protection standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant migrations.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 endpoint management using Intune.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online administration and site collection management.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools and best practices.
  • Familiarity with implementing and managing Microsoft 365 retention policies.
  • Experience with automating administrative tasks using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Proficiency in managing Microsoft 365 license assignments and optimization.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 reporting and analytics tools.
  • This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
