Position DescriptionThis position is responsible for performing essential radiological procedures and for handling the necessary details associated with those procedures; i.e. preparing patients for procedures, processing film, and maintaining records and reports. Work is performed under general supervision. Work is performed independently within established guidelines and procedures. Work is performed in usual clinic conditions; requires a high degree of contact with patients and physicians.
Major/Essential Functions- Prepares patients for procedures: positions patients, regulates controls to expose film, operates appropriate equipment to perform x-rays and fluoroscopy procedures, and processes the film.
- Order and maintains supplies and coordinates preventative maintenance and equipment.
- Verifies billing as submitted by consultants.
- Maintains records and reports on patients; Maintains a daily count of patients from monthly reports.

Required QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent; and completion of an approved two-year program in radiological technology. Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technology.
