Job Summary

Performs professional work in the Employment & Recruitment Section to support the City of Orlando's recruiting efforts. Overall duties include identifying and implementing effective recruiting and sourcing strategies, partnering with local colleges, universities, trade schools, and other organizations to promote open positions and benefits provided by the City, using innovative strategies to find quality candidates to fill open positions, posting open positions, as well as reviewing, screening, and ranking applications, and assisting applicants and hiring managers throughout the recruitment and selection process. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Employment and Testing Manager. Work is reviewed through observations, reports, conferences, and results obtained. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field and two (2) years professional human resources generalist experience, preferably in employee recruiting or staffing; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Florida Driver's License required. Experience successfully using recruiting tools and resources preferred.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:

Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
