Incumbents receive training in performing the duties outlined in the series concept. DIVISION OF CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES(DCFS) is recruiting for a Casework Management Specialist 1 underfilling Casework Management Specialist 3 in Fallon, Nevada. Under close supervision, incumbents at this level function in a trainee capacity, learning to determine social service needs of clients, develop appropriate solutions and case plans, and provide ongoing case management services. Advancement to the next level may occur after meeting the minimum qualification, satisfactory performance, and with endorsement of the appointing authority. Special Notes Licensure by the State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers as a Social Worker or Clinical Social Worker may be substituted for one year of required work experience. Individuals who have current licensure may be required to maintain licensure as a condition of continuing employment. Special Requirements Positions may be required to work evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Positions are subject to call-out or call-back. Positions require a valid driver's license, or equivalent mobility, at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
