Job Description and Duties

Under direct supervision, the Seasonal Clerks in the CJIS Division are used in various sections to perform operational and support function tasks related to the processing of criminal justice related documents. Functions will include, but are not limited to, reading, writing, basic arithmetic, counting, filing, delivering, retrieving files, and simple typing.

Working Conditions

This position is designated for telework under Government Code section 14200 for eligible applicants residing in California and may require reporting to headquarters or field offices and facilities to fulfill operational needs. All telework schedules are subject to change and may be reevaluated at any time. Telework does not change the terms and conditions of employment, the essential functions of job duties, or required compliance with the Department of Justice policies.

This position is located in the California Justice Information Services Division, Bureau of Criminal Information & Analysis (BCIA), Applicant & Record Quality Services Branch (ARQSB), Applicant Services Program (ASP), FBI Response Section.
