Job Description Office of Information Technology Annual Salary Range for IT Analyst II: $93,448 - $124,598 Annual Salary Range for Senior IT Analyst: $98,130 - $130,835 FLSA Exempt / Union Represented This position allows for up to four days of remote work per week. About the Office Information Technology (IT) is responsible for applications development and support, infrastructure support, telecommunications, and video conferencing resources that support the work of the State Bar. This position is a new role created for the migration of VMware On-Premises datacenters to Azure AVS. Once the migration is complete, the role will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing and hardening of the Azure Cloud environment. About this Recruitment The Office of Information Technology is seeking to fill one position at either the IT Analyst II or Senior IT Analyst level. ABOUT THE POSITION: Senior Information Technology (IT) Technicians perform installation, diagnostic and maintenance activities for the City's data and telecommunications infrastructure, and regularly provide advanced technical and functional support, direction and leadership to other technical staff. THE CURRENT VACANCY: The current opening is in the Information Technology Department. The Senior IT Technician provides Tier 2 level support primarily for the Water and Parking departments, working closely with the City’s IT Technicians and Network System Analysts in resolving complex issues. ABOUT THE POSITION: Senior Information Technology (IT) Technicians perform installation, diagnostic and maintenance activities for the City's data and telecommunications infrastructure, and regularly provide advanced technical and functional support, direction and leadership to other technical staff.
