Job Description DEFINITION Under direct supervision, performs a variety of paraprofessional and office support tasks in the field of environmental health; enters data into a variety of software systems; updates and maintains specialized environmental health records; and performs related duties as assigned. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS This single journey level classification is responsible for a variety of office, administrative, and field support work related to environmental health. Incumbents assist registered Environmental Health Specialists in the performance of semi-skilled tasks requiring a basic understanding of science and/or environmental health.
