The Department is responsible for public works, county roads and bridges, county parks, and county facilities. The Public Works, Facilities & Parks (PWFP) Department has an immediate need for an Assistant Road Superintendent. This position assists Road Superintendents in planning, organizing and supervising designated activities related to the maintenance of County roads and related structures. This is the supervisory level class in the Road Maintenance series. Employees in this class are responsible for assisting in the direction of personnel and equipment assigned to a road crew, exercising immediate supervision over personnel and equipment assigned to maintenance projects and acting for the Road Superintendent in the latter’s absence.
