    We are looking for someone to join our team who has a passion for strengthening the field of crime victim assistance in Missouri. The individual selected for this position will coordinate the development and daily operations of the statewide Crime Victim Advocate Credentialing Program. This position provides an opportunity to support crime victim advocates in reaching their career goals and aspirations through education, training, and field experience.

    This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Crime Victim Advocate Credentialing Program (CVACP), including managing user access, creating and uploading training content, tracking learner progress, generating reports, and providing technical support to ensure smooth delivery of online learning programs across the advocacy network; collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions within the CVACP.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • System Administration : Configure, maintain, and manage the CVACP platform.
    • Content Management : Upload, organize, and update learning materials (courses, videos, documents, assessments).
    • User & Course Support : Enroll users, manage access/permissions, provide technical assistance, troubleshoot issues, and guide instructors/learners.
    • Reporting & Analytics : Generate reports on course completion, user progress, and training effectiveness; analyze data to improve programs.
    • Collaboration : Work with the IT developers/designers and subject matter experts to align CVACP with training goals.
    • Quality Assurance : Test new features, updates, and integrations to ensure seamless functionality.


    End User Support:

    • Assist the OVC in the development, planning, logistics and facilitation of the Missouri Crime Victim Services Academy and Crime Victims’ Rights activities.
    • Facilitate and coordinate meetings of the Crime Victim Advocate Credentialing Board.
    • Develop training, tools and materials and methods to evaluate the effectiveness of the program.


    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    The position requires:

    • Knowledge working with learning management systems and/or programs.
    • Knowledge of web-based applications, including development and light programming.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications.
    • Ability to positively interact with a variety of people, individual advocates, victim assistance agencies, law enforcement and others involved in the delivery of crime victim services and assistance.
    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and close attention to detail to include proper and effective use of grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
    • Ability to communicate well with individuals having varying levels of knowledge and backgrounds.
    • Ability to appropriately handle restricted and confidential information in a professional manner.
    • Ability to work on many tasks simultaneously while maintaining good organizational skills.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
    • 2-4 years of relevant experience in Project Coordination/Support; or technical and/or professional experience in learning management programs

    The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
