The Bureau of HIV, STD, and Hepatitis (BHSH) is seeking a Health Program Supervisor to provide oversight of the HIV Case Management system. If this is you, then BHSH is the perfect place for you.     The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

    • Coordinates and directs statewide planning, development, implementation, and administration of statewide HIV Case management system. Evaluates, develops, and revises statewide medical case management policies and procedures in collaboration with other Ryan White grantees to ensure efficient delivery of services within federal law and policies. Promotes new standards and accompanying policies for the medical case management systems. Plans, organizes, and facilitates monthly statewide management meetings, quarterly Positive Start and Linkage to Care meetings. Utilizes principles of quality improvement to assure continuous program improvement to meet or exceed established performance measures.

    • Evaluates, develops, and revises statewide medical case management policies and procedures in collaboration with other Ryan White grantees to ensure efficient delivery of services within federal law and policies.

    • Promotes new standards and accompanying policies for the medical case management system.

    • Supervises three Regional Quality Service Managers to help ensure appropriate oversight of statewide medical case management contracts. Evaluates program policy effects and organizational changes to improve program systems.



    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; and,
    • Six or more years of professional experience in public health, mental health, environmental health, education, social services, public or business administration, health care, and/or health care administration. (A combination of education from an accredited college or university and experience described may substitute for the stated qualifications.)
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to self-motivate and work independently
