The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Coordinate the DHSS Worksite Wellness Program including worksite wellness committee (WWC) membership, planning, coordinating and evaluating activities and events for DHSS employees.
- Collaborate with department divisions and other department-wide initiaitives to infuse wellness concepts.
- Conduct process and outcome evaluation for the program to ensure activities meet employees’ needs and for identifying opportunities for program improvement.
- Plan, manage, and track the Worksite Wellness Program’s budgets and expenditures. Make recommendations to the funding administrators regarding work plan, budget and expenditures for worksite wellness.
- Serve as the department’s Strive for Wellness Coordinator coordinating with the Missouri Consolidated Health Care Plan Strive for
- Wellness program and serve as a subject matter expert for worksite wellness,
- Independently write, monitor, and evaluate contracts required to implement the DHSS worksite wellness program plan.
- Develop and disseminate resources to assist internal stakeholders and other departments with worksite wellness implementation, including updating and maintaining the Worksite Wellness Program intranet webpages.
- Coordinate and oversee department Team Member program and nominations.
- Serve at the department liaison working with the OA Talent Development program and events related to the State Team Member of the month program and events.
- Coordinate and develop department recognition programs
- Coordinate and plan department annual events for State employee recognition week and MO Appreciation events.
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
- Ability to evaluate, compile, and enter data for reporting purposes
- Ability to communicate clearly (verbally and written) and develop relationships within DHSS and outside partners
- Strong analytical, organizational, critical thinking, and writing/editing skills
