At the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD), our Project Managers are dedicated problem solvers who deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers. As a Project Manager, you will:
Lead and Innovate: Initiate, plan, manage, and lead project teams to implement strategic projects.
Drive Efficiency: Enhance productivity and efficiency for the organization and the citizens of Missouri.
Collaborate: Be a key player in partnerships between IT, multiple IT project teams, and state agency business customers.

- The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
This role is part of the OA-ITSD Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), providing support to one or more state agencies.

- Project Oversight: Provide overall planning, coordination, and oversight of all activities for assigned projects.
- Leadership: Lead projects through the entire Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

- Business Analysis: Strong understanding of business analysis principles.
- SDLC Knowledge: Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures within the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Core Competencies: Excellent communication, leadership, organization, conflict resolution, and critical thinking skills.
- Project Planning: Ability to plan and organize projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Independent Management: Proven ability to manage projects independently from conception to implementation.
- Decision-Making: Informed and effective decision-making skills.
- Risk Evaluation: Ability to evaluate options for solutions, considering all risks and impacts.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with professional staff and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team, provide direction, and take initiative.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant. Strengths in Negotiation, Lean and Strategic Thinking, Building Strong Partnerships and Relationship Building, and the ability to develop productive, team-oriented relationships are also beneficial. Knowledge of Scrum, according to Scrum.org’s Scrum Guide, is also beneficial.
