    Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

Quality Programs focuses on efforts to equip child care professionals with essential supports to help children thrive.

    • Responsible for research, development, support, and evaluation of contracts with the Office of Childhood.
    • Receive, review, and approve invoices for early childhood quality initiatives on a monthly basis, including monitoring of spend-down funds of the contract.
    • Provide technical assistance, training, and ongoing monitoring to support contractor implementation, deliverables/requirements, and data collection.
    • Coordinate with other programs within the Office of Childhood to improve quality initiatives.
    • Responsible for required data collection, analysis, and reporting.
    • Assist the Program Coordinator and serve as a backup to team members, when needed.
    • Maintain familiarity with state laws and regulations applicable to early childhood quality initiatives.
    • Present early childhood quality initiative information at local and/or state meetings.
    • Attend federal, state, and regional meetings pertaining to early childhood programs.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    • Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in early childhood, education, communications, human development, family studies, or other related area.


    OR

    • Four or more years of professional or technical experience in providing social/human services; elementary/early childhood education; project management or contract management, and possession of a high school diploma or high school equivalency.
