Job Location: This position will be located at 930 Wildwood Dr., Jefferson City, Mo 65109 or in the Southwest Region depending on the candidate's location.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Conduct licensed lead (Pb) hazard risk assessments in the home
- Complete paperwork and provide reports to families on lead hazards identified
- Provide expertise, guidance and education to families impacted by lead
- Provide outreach and education at public events on the hazards of lead
- Assist the Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program achieve programmatic goals
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years relevant experience (Substitutions may be allowed) and,
- Valid driver's license and,
- Ability to obtain a valid Missouri Lead Risk Assessor License and Lead Abatement Supervisor license
- The minimum education and/or experience requirements for a licensed risk assessor includes at least one (1) of the following:
- A bachelor’s degree and at least one (1) year of experience in a related field such as lead, asbestos, housing repair or inspection, and/or environmental hazard remediation work;
- An associate’s degree and two (2) years experience in a related field such as lead, asbestos, housing repair or inspection, and/or environmental hazard remediation work;
- Certification as an industrial hygienist, professional engineer, registered architect and/or certification in a related engineering/health/environmental field such as safety professional or environmental scientist; or
Preferred Qualifications: - Current Lead (Pb) Risk Assessor License
