Supervising ATC Payroll Technician* to supervise a portion of the staff within the Central Payroll section and to control production of pay warrants for County and Special Districts employees. Essential duties include supervising, making hiring recommendations, assigning, and reviewing work of Central Payroll section clerical staff; analyzing and interpreting Memoranda of Understanding (MOU), employment contracts, federal and state regulations, court orders, and system processes to resolve payroll issues; and generating system processes on-line, running payroll, and evaluating and approving on-demand pay requests.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
1) Travel throughout the County may be required, and employees will be required to make provisions for such transportation.

Minimum Requirements CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE Must possess four (4) years of full-time experience processing payroll that includes calculating pay and deductions
OR reviewing, reconciling, and maintaining fiscal/accounting records.
SUBSTITUTION Six (6) semester (9 quarter) units of completed college coursework in accounting, math, and/or business administration may substitute for six (6) months of the required experience.

- Complex, full-cycle payroll processing experience.
- Experience working in the payroll field for a public/governmental agency.
- Supervisory or lead experience.
Selection Process Examination Procedure :There will be an
