Job Location: Division of Professional Registration, Missouri State Board of Registration for the Healing Arts, 3605 Missouri Boulevard, Jefferson City, Missouri 65109. This is an in-office position.

- Provides consultation and expert medical evaluation and advice to the board members and board staff on the medical/technical evaluation of malpractice cases, consumer complaints and investigations.
- Participates in complaint review as part of the Complaint Review Committee.
- Assigns medical staff officers and contract physicians, medical/case reviews and is responsible for the timely completion of all assigned work.
- Investigates and evaluates medical malpractice reports and complaints and prepares reports on findings.
- Assists investigative and legal staff with pertinent information to help resolve cases.
- Advises and generally assists the board and the executive director in planning and developing goals and objectives for the board.
- Attends, participates, and contributes in staff meetings, board meetings, and conference calls and provides input on cases and issues before the board.
- Conducts medical staff Interviews with licensees to answer questions and concerns of the board.
- Reviews and evaluates federal and state legislation, rules and regulations for their impact on the board's operation.
• Missouri licensed physician with five or more years of post-residency experience.
• Knowledge of computer applications such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
