 CT Technologists I/II* who perform CT Exams. Technologists administer intravenous and oral contrast and observe patients for signs or symptoms of adverse reactions; complete all necessary paperwork; provide quality customer service and practice safety standards and radiation protection, while providing high quality images and examinations in a fast paced trauma center as part of a team of physicians and registered nurses.

 Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist I  Annual Salary:  $70,844.80 - $94,993.60 
 Special Procedures Radiologic Technologist II  Annual Salary: $85,030.40 - $117,000.00 
 Specialty Differential:  Special Procedures Radiological Technologist’s and Contract Special Procedures Radiological Technologists who possess and maintain licenses/certifications and competencies required to provide care to patients in multiple medical imaging areas, and who make themselves available to work in those units, shall receive a differential of five percent (5.00%) above their base hourly rate for all hours actually worked (i.e., REG hours), up to their standard hours per pay period. All technologists must perform X-rays as assigned and two or more of the following specialty areas to be eligible: CT, MRI, IR, Cath Lab, or Angio.

 Summary of Benefits   Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT  Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; 
applicants must indicate their shift availability in the Supplemental Questionnaire of the application.  Shift differentials are provided. 
Pre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.
On-call Schedule: Incumbents scheduled to be on-call must be able to arrive to the hospital within 1 hour after receiving a call. Incumbents must indicate a willingness to accept and be able to arrive within 1 hour for assignments. Please refer to the 
MOU for additional details and compensation (Page 117).

Minimum RequirementsCandidates must possess all of the following: Certification:- Must be certified by the State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist
- CRT/Fluoroscopy issued by the State of California, Department of Public Health
- Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Venipuncture Certification for contrast media
Registration:- Must possess registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) and i n  Computerized Tomography (CT) 
Experience:- Special Procedures RT I: No experience Required (Trainee level)
- Special Procedures RT II: One (1) year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist -OR- Six (6) months of supervised Computerized Tomography (CT) clinical experience. 
Desired QualificationsCandidates with experience performing CT scans in a trauma center are highly desired.
