Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under direction, plans, organizes and supervises the work of the Associated Students Ticket office; monitors and controls tickets and cash received; provides information about campus events, and performs related work as required.
POSITION DUTIES:
Oversees daily sales activity of the Ticket Office.
Hires, trains, schedules, evaluates performance, and supervises student staff. Manages student staff hours/schedules and payroll reporting.
Responsible for event settlement, including balancing, reconciling, reporting and recordkeeping.
Oversees off-site event ticket sales.
Consults with campus departments and organizations regarding effective marketing and ticket sales management.
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Equivalent to three years of full-time, progressively responsible financial record-keeping experience that has provided the knowledge and abilities listed or any equivalent combination of college education in a job-related field and experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
Thorough knowledge of receiving, disbursing and receipting money and maintaining knowledge of checks and other demand-negotiable instruments; general knowledge of office equipment, methods and procedures; ability to perform and supervise a variety of cashiering work involved in receiving, disbursing and accounting for money; ability to supervise the work of others; ability to review and monitor detailed activities with accuracy; ability to balance a cash register and operate office equipment; ability to use computers and various software including Word and Excel, ability to make arithmetic calculations with speed and accuracy; ability to analyze and recommend operational procedures; ability to work a variable schedule including nights and weekends.
Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
This position is employed through Associated Students (AS). AS offers an excellent benefits package including Medical, Dental & Vision insurance, Life Insurance, Vacation, Sick Leave, 14 paid Holidays, company sponsored retirement program and more.
The range position is $24.30 - $36.46 per hour. The anticipated hiring range: $24.30 - $32.00 per hour, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
HOURS: Full-Time, Non-Exempt at 40 hours per week; schedule is generally Monday - Friday during business hours but periodically varies to accommodate working evening and weekend events.
