Introduction This examination is being given to fill one vacancy in the Assessor-Recorder-County Clerk's Office and to establish an eligible list to fill future vacancies. THE DEPARTMENT In December 2022, the Long Beach City Council approved the transition of the Citizen Police Complaint Commission (CPCC) to an auditing/monitoring oversight model for the Long Beach Police Department (LBPD), by creating the Office of Police Oversight (OPO).
