    Summary

    The City Manager’s Office is seeking a qualified individual to oversee and manage special projects. This position will play a key role in supporting organizational priorities, coordinating cross-departmental initiatives, and ensuring timely completion of assigned projects.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities
    • Plan, organize, and oversee special projects as directed by the City Manager.
    • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure alignment with city goals.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for executive staff and City Council.
    • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
    • Serve as a liaison between the City Manager’s office and internal/external stakeholders.
    Qualifications
    • Strong organizational and project management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.


    Education and/or Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience.
    • Local government experience required.
    • Must have or actively pursuing a Master of Public Administration (MPA). Master's in Public Administration preferred)
