    Job Summary

    THIS IS A TEMP/SEASONAL POSITION

    Starting Salary $20.00

    Job Summary:

    Operate hydraulic excavators and bulldozers to pile, stack and load muck and sediment materials into haul trucks, and perform fine grading and shaping of wetland areas. Work will take place in soft ground requiring precision and awareness.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavators or similar heavy equipment (preferably in wetland or soft-soil environments)



    • Valid driver’s license (CDL is not needed)



    • Ability to read and write



    • Strong knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures



    • Experience working in wet or mucky soils



    • Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions



    • Strong communication and teamwork skills



    • Willingness to work extended or irregular hours as needed

    THIS IS A PART_TIME_POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. THIS POSITION INVOLVES WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEEED.

    If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree as follows:
    • Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
    • Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
    • Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
    • Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
