Why you’ll love this position:The Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Programs helps to ensure that low-income individuals living with HIV can obtain or maintain stable housing. HOPWA is the only federally funded program aimed directly to assisting individuals living with HIV. This position coordinates with contracted agencies to review requests and oversee the HOPWA Program for individuals living in the Outstate Regions of Missouri.
The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.
- Oversee the HOPWA program and ensure compliance with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) policies for the Outstate HIV Case Management regions
- Provide technical assistance, training, and guidance to Ryan White contracted agencies and Case Managers related to HOPWA and other Outstate support services
- Collaborate with other HUD funded agencies in Missouri to complete the Annual Action Plan every year, and the Consolidated Plan every five years
- Assist the Data and Compliance Manager with data and reporting requirements for the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)
- Review, research, and implement policies in accordance with updated HUD guidelines
Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience (substitutions may be allowed)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking, researching, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimum level of supervision
