    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Workdays & Hours: *Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm*(*subject to change)

    PURPOSE OF DIVISION

    The Workforce Innovation and Development (WID) team is dedicated to supporting the operations and employees of HAS. WID exists to prepare the workforce of today for the needs of the department tomorrow. WID serves as an internal resource for all HAS divisions and as a liaison for the department. WID works to provide a positive experience department-wide and assist in all efforts to grow, develop, and effectively management the HAS workforce.

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

    The Customer Service Clerk serves as the first point of contact for all guests, employees, and external visitors entering the HAS Administration Building. This position is responsible for delivering outstanding front desk service with professionalism, courtesy, and a welcoming demeanor. This position reports to the Division Manager of Corporate Services, WID. "Must be able to pass a criminal background check, obtain and maintain federally mandated security clearances where required."

    The Customer Service Clerk duties will include but are not limited to:
    • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient front desk coverage for the HAS Administration Building.
    • Greet visitors, answer questions, and direct them to the appropriate departments or staff members.
    • Answer and route incoming calls in a courteous and timely manner.
    • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and packages from delivery service providers.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date OASIS records, including office assignments and employee locations.
    • Perform administrative tasks to support WID operations.
    • Provide Notary Services for HAS employees.
    • Process Service Entries for Purchase Orders (POs) in coordination with the WID team.
    • Research, analyze, and resolve standard customer inquiries or concerns via phone, email, or in-person communication.
    • Create and track work orders as needed.
    • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, ensuring the front desk reflects the high standards of HAS.
    • Perform other related administrative and operational duties as assigned.

    WORKING CONDITIONS
    The position occasionally requires stooping or bending. Occasional very light lifting, such as three or four reams of papers or books (up to 20 pounds or an equivalent weight) may be required. There are no major sources of discomfort, i.e., essentially normal office environment with acceptable lighting, temperature and air conditions. Requires the ability to make simple gross motor responses within large tolerances.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    Requires a high school diploma or a GED.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    Six months of clerical/customer service experience are required.

    LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
    None

    PREFERENCES

    Preference will be given to applicants with experience with Kofax Scanning Software, OnBase Enterprise Management Software and PDF file creation and editing via Adobe Acrobat is preferred.

    Factors used in determining the salary offered include the candidate's qualifications as well as the pay rates of other employees in this classification.
