This position supervises, administers, and coordinates the delivery of immunization and related services, and supervises activities of program-related staff. This position also provides coordinated support to additional clinical and departmental programs including sexual and reproductive health, communicable disease and emergency preparedness. This role participates in a collaborative, team-based model of care.

Typical work week is Monday - Friday during regularly scheduled clinic hours (ranging from 8am to 6pm). Work rotates between clinics in Fort Collins, Loveland, and Estes Park on a regular basis. Some off-site work and evening work is required for this role. During the initial six-month probationary period, the individual hired may telework up to one day per week, if business needs allow. After successfully completing the probationary period, the individual may telework up to two days per week, depending on business plans and operational needs.

- May administer or make recommendations for routine personnel matters affecting program personnel, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, scheduling work hours, granting leave, appraising performance, disciplining, and submitting such records and reports as required by County policies and procedures.
- Assists in monitoring program efficiency and effectiveness; recommends and implements administrative or procedural changes as appropriate.
- Assists in the development of data collection guidelines, implementation, review and evaluation related to program(s).
- Directs and coordinates the work of program staff in the provision of health care and educational services. May exercise direct and indirect supervisor over professional and clerical staff.
- Assesses community concerns and needs; plans program goals and objectives accordingly.
- Acts as a resource and liaison to the community and other County departments and divisions which includes the provision of technical and clinical guidance to area health providers, public, and public health staff on issues related to assigned program area.
- Ensures adherence to policy and protocol for procedures in assigned area, and promotes safety in both clinic and off-site clinics.
- Prepares and conducts promotional materials and presentations to improve community awareness of services provided or outbreak situations.
- Provides a variety of high quality, evidence-based skilled nursing services to patients following current guidelines, standing orders; educates patients and family members on healthcare and program procedures.
- Conducts and facilitates internal and external trainings to maintain regulatory compliance and staff competency.

What we're looking for:
- Have knowledge of supervisory principles, procedures, and methods including selection, training, discipline and evaluation.
- Apply the principles and practices of epidemiology, health education, public health promotion, disease prevention, health equity, and public health policy.
- Plan agendas, facilitate meetings, develop effective presentations and trainings, and demonstrate strong leadership of a team.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Be able to evaluate and prioritize multiple tasks, ensuring adherence to time limits and completion with high standard of accuracy.
- Have the ability to provide and receive feedback in a constructive manner, and foster a team-focused approach with a williness to help others when needed.
- Be comfortable with developing, interpreting and implementing standing orders and protocols in a clinical setting.
- Provide accurate documentation of clinical services and maintenance of confidential Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Bilingual skills are highly valued.
QualificationsAll candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent education, in Nursing from an accredited college required.
- Licensed to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado required.
- Three (3) years of increasingly responsible nursing experience with some responsibility for assisting in program development required.
- Prior experience in specific nursing program relevant to the role they will perform preferred.
- Maintain continuing education hours as required by the Department, and obtain certificates/training necessary for specific programs required.
- Possession of CPR certification required.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire required.
