The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Spring 2026 to teach Lecture section of EE 430: Integrated Circuits and VLSI Design. The course description is below:
Course Description Design and analysis of single-stage, multi-stage, and differential integrated circuit amplifiers, feedback circuits, operational amplifiers, filters, oscillators, output stages and power amplifiers. Digital circuit design at the transistor level.
Minimum qualifications: - A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 10 years related experience
- Experience teaching at the college level for at least one semester
- Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment
Preferred qualifications: - A doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience teaching upper-division college courses
- Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching.
Salary commensurate with degree level and experience - Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 - $6,008 per full-time month
The salary schedule information for the Lecturer - Academic Year Classification is available based on the following ranges:
- CSU Classification Salary Range Lecturer A - AY: $5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month
The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
