This is your chance to lead a full-service municipality with a $60 million operating budget and approximately 75 employees. Antioch operates under a Village Board of Trustees form of government with a strong tradition of professional administration. The Village values strong communication, economic development, and staff development skills.
The Village Administrator is the chief administrative officer, overseeing day-to-day operations, implementing Board policy, and building strong, productive relationships across departments and the community. The Village Administrator works with trustworthy and experienced department directors in the oversight of the following departments: Administration, Finance, Community Development, Parks and Recreation, Police, and Public Works.

- Serve as the CAO of the Village, overseeing departments, operations, and performance outcomes
- Implement strategic goals in collaboration with the Village Board
- Champion economic development, fiscal sustainability, and staff development
- Collaborate with and lead multi-disciplinary departments in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
- Cultivate a high-performance culture through innovation and teamwork
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science, Law, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of executive municipal leadership experience
- A combination of experience and education will be considered
- Strong leadership, board relations, and team-building skills
- ICMA-CM is preferred
- Veterans with leadership experience are strongly encouraged to apply
The salary range for this position is $185,000 to $205,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Village of Antioch offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a vehicle allowance, family health insurance, retirement, paid leave, and professional development support.
