Aviation Business Analyst (Analyst)

Full-time position available with the Aviation Department, Finance and Accounting Division, located at 601 Brasilia Ave.
Salary Starting at: $4,619/month
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Provides financial analysis and reporting for Passenger Facility Charge (PFC), Customer Facility Charge (CFC), Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), and Overhaul Base
• Assists in coordination of PFC applications with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to ensure timely approval
• Responsible for tracking & managing CIP Program from the financial aspect
• Forecasts Long-Term CIP Projects with assistance from the Engineering division
• Reviews capital budgets for conformance with the Capital Improvement Plan, and assists with funding, contract documentation, and change orders
• Responsible for timely and accurate dashboard analysis of key performance metrics on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis along with ad hoc report as requested
• Performs cash-flow forecasting on a short-term and long-term basis
• Benchmarks Internal Trends with Industry
• Performs other duties as assigned


Qualifications

REQUIRES an accredited Master's degree in public or business administration, urban or regional planning, economics, organizational psychology/development, project management, or geography; OR an accredited Bachelor's degree and 1 year of professional experience in public or business administration, corporate/municipal finance, research, accounting, planning, project/program management or geographical information system analytics.
