$4,410.00- $4,631.00 Per Month {$52,920.00 - $55,572.00 Annually}
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Position Summary
Responsible for maintenance of financial integrity of the Student Accounts System through accounting; analysis and reconciliation of its activities; process fee payments and departmental deposits; use initiative/judgment in analyzing information and determining a course of action within established procedures.
The Administrative Analyst/Specialist performs a wide range of administrative and analytical duties. In addition to the primary responsibility of processing deposits (cashiering), providing students, staff, faculty and community member services, etc., incumbents are required to use initiative and judgment in analyzing information and determining a course of action within the specifications of standard practice and established procedures. The incumbent performs moderately complex professional student services and assists the Lead Student Account Specialist, Lead Accountants, and Bursar.
Position Information
Cashiering/Student Support Provide cashiering support to the Bursar’s Office. Provide advice to and counsel students regarding fee assessments based on enrollment and withdrawal, and disputed fee payments and charges. Advise and interpret student concerns regarding Title IV, delayed or lost disbursements, refunds, and general procedures.
Account Reconciliation Perform accounting activities related to collections, credit card payments and deposits; responsible to applying deposit payments correctly and efficiently. Work closely with other campus departments in maintaining accurate collection of account receipts and documentation.

Minimum Qualifications
• Working knowledge of general practices, program, and/or administrative specialty. Basic knowledge of and ability to apply fundamental concepts. Working knowledge of budget policies and procedures.
• Ability to learn, interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures relating to and impacting the applicable program, organizational unit, and/or administrative specialty.
• Knowledge of basic methods and procedures for research and statistical analysis and the ability to apply them.
• Ability to analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistical techniques.
• Ability to organize and plan work and projects including handling multiple priorities.
• Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to compile, write, and present reports related to program or administrative specialty.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within and outside the work group and serve as a liaison for the organizational unit.
Preferred Qualifications
• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college/university in a related field.
• Skill Requirement: Working knowledge of an automated cashiering system is preferred. Reporting tools such as PeopleSoft Query, and PeopleSoft Financial Application is a plus. Intermediate skill level using Microsoft Office Tools, experience operating office equipment, 10-key by touch, and typewriter desired.
