    Overview

    Are you an experienced logistics professional? The Clerk and Recorder's Office is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our Administrative Department!

    As a Logistics Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Vehicle Licensing, Recording, and Elections departments, making a lasting impact on the lives of Larimer County citizens today and in the future.

    This full-time position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at our office in Old Town, Fort Collins. Also, some weekend or holiday work may be required.

    Responsibilities

    Specifically, this position:
    • Manages the vehicle licensing plate inventory in accordance with Department of Revenue regulations, including organizing and restocking license plates in all vehicle licensing offices.
    • Performs on-site VIN inspections or manufactured homes in accordance with vehicle licensing requirements, which may require the use of hand tools.
    • Tracks and reconciles Postal Permit account balances, requesting additional funds as needed.
    • Plans and implements site setup for all Clerk & Recorder events.
    • Performs pallet jack/forklift duties for the Clerk & Recorder office.
    • Coordinates delivery logistics with vendors and delivers items to the appropriate Clerk & Recorder department.

    We are looking for a candidate that will:
    • Demonstrate logistics experience with an emphasis on internal support.
    • Utilize routine software and business applications including, but not limited to, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and database management.
    • Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
    • Read and interpret statutes.
    • Be available to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.


    Qualifications

    All candidates will be screened for the following required minimum qualifications. Any candidate who does not meet all of the qualifications listed as required will be eliminated from the process.
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Possession of a valid Driver's License by date of hire required.
    • Possession of a Forklift Certification within one (1) year of hire required.
