    Role

    The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide direct support to District 3 Supervisor-Elect Nikki Check.
    The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, a proactive approach, and a collaborative mindset. This position necessitates interaction with staff at all levels of the County. The Executive Assistant will work closely with community partners to further the mission of the Supervisor.

    Major Duties, Responsibilities

    • Performs a variety of administrative duties: manages appointment calendars; formats, composes, and types correspondence; develops, plans, and coordinates various internal and external public information activities; schedules, gathers materials and prepares agenda for various meetings; conducts research and performs special assignments.
    • Receives calls and assists constituency in all realms of inquiries, communicates citizen complaints through the proper channels, and ensures that appropriate responses are disseminated.
    • Assists with research, budget preparation, and various other related tasks.
    • Coordinates special activities, such as community meetings, public ceremonies, community outreach events and other special events; may attend meetings/events to represent manager/supervisor.
    • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications

    Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Experience:
    A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible general office experience.

    Additional Requirements:
    Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
