Job Location: This position will be located: 149 Park Central Square, Room 429, Springfield, MO 65806/Greene County. This position will be responsible for covering assigned cases in the counties of Greene, and Polk.

- Investigate reports of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of the elderly (age 60+) and disabled (ages 18+).
- Conduct home visits to observe surroundings, and interview victims and caregivers.
- Coordinate interventions and ongoing protective services needs
- Be available to be in an on call rotation with other members of your team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - High level communication and interviewing skills.
- Able to work independently and show initiative within a team environment.
- Able to be resilient, think critically, and be innovative.
- Bachelor's degree (relevant experience such as LPN, RN, or social service supports, etc. experience may be substituted for each year of required education).
- For the APS Specialist II position, one or more years of experience in Adult Protective Services or other related human services field.
