Specialist Poison Information Amarillo 36841BR Position Description Provides professional and technical assistance regarding poison information and potential poisoning exposures. Major/Essential Functions This position is on-site only. A remote schedule will not be available. This position will perform telephone triage for poison-related calls from both the public and health care providers/hospitals and provide treatment recommendations consistent with current guidelines and medical evidence. Initial one-on-one training will be provided for the first 6-12 weeks during the day/evening shift, after which the position will transition to evening/night shift. The work of the Invasive Species Technician will focus largely on supporting projects that involve the protection of rare, threatened, and endangered species and natural communities on park lands and Historic Sites.
